What Membership Means
Being a member of ELUPEG shows a belief in Collaboration as the only way ahead. There are different levels of membership including a new limited 'Ambassador' Membership -see full details below:-
Associate members are typically those who are "dipping their toe" into collaboration and sustainable logistics and want to find out more, and perhaps attend a meeting. Associates will receive our regular communications about events - both ELUPEG and alliance organisations - and can register and pay for meetings online. This gives Associate members the edge over non-members when it comes to booking places at popular events. Associates have limited additional access to the Members Only parts of the web site - but we hope to persuade Associates to upgrade to Full or Corporate membership when they see the benefits that can be obtained.
Associate membership is free, however we do ask that you register and keep your contact information up to date.
A Bronze member receives a username and password which allows access to the member's only area of the website where you can establish contact with other ELUPEG members and have access to information showing the activities of the group. A forum or blog area allows members to discuss and debate their ideas and views with other members, and there is a library of documents on the subject of collaboration, including articles, projects and case histories. Membership is individual but a member may nominate a colleague to attend a meeting in their place. Membership runs for 12 months from date of joining and can be renewed online. The membership fee is £450 plus VAT.
This allows anybody within the company to attend meetings at member's discounted rates (typically 50%), access to the member's only area which includes presentations from the meetings, logo on the ELUPEG website with a link to their own website and information and discounts on other related events. The cost is £1200 plus VAT.
We have recently decided to offer a few selected companies the opportunity to become an ELUPEG Ambassador. This includes having a seat on the ELUPEG Advisory Committee if desired, allows anyone within the company to attend meetings at member's discounted rates (typically 50%), access to the member's only area which includes presentations from the meetings, their logo on the ELUPEG website with a link to their website, their logo on all ELUPEG stationery and information and discounts on other related events.
There are currently three Group Meetings per year, hosted by one or more of the member companies. Meetings normally comprise a full day working event with break-out sessions, presentations, debates etc., and a very popular networking dinner the evening before.
Silver and Bronze members are charged a meeting fee that represents a significant discount over the Associate or non-members fees. Participants are paying for the opportunity to:
- network with representatives from a large number of companies
- explore opportunities to create sustainable logistics operations
- find others wanting to make savings by collaborative working
- learn about progress being made by ongoing projects and working groups
- contribute to these activities.
