Road Pricing in Germany  Presentation by Annette Hoffman of the University Duisburg-Essen. At the ELUPEG meeting in Frankfurt on 5 February 2004, Annette Hoffman explained the planned road pricing system in Germany from the perspective of the Senders and the Freight Carriers. The subsequent discussions focused on the practicalities and also the potential impact of this policy. Alan Waller commented that road pricing would rapidly spread across Europe, and this would be a major driver towards more collaboration in line with the ELUPEG initiative.
