CEVA speaking at ELUPEG meeting about collaborative approach in Italy
CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, wasinvited to the ELUPEG Autumn Meeting on 16 October hosted by Lego at their Distribution Centre inPrague, Czech Republic, to present an overview of the company’s collaborative approach to logistics inItaly. ELUPEG is a European non-profit organization that aims to promote logistics collaboration. ELUPEG encourages collaboration by bringing together a group of companies representing a variety ofbusiness sectors, to drive improvements in asset utilization, carbon reductions, higher customer serviceand cost reductions. ELUPEG has a wealth of real business experience and demonstrates howcollaboration in logistics and the supply chain can transform businesses, cut costs and contributesignificantly to the achievement of environmental targets. ELUPEG organize quarterly meetings whereinformation and case studies are shared, followed by interactive collaborative working groups to discussaction-based projects in a trusted neutral environment. CEVA believes that the future of the supply chain in Italy is focused on a collaborative approach; sharinginfrastructures, networks, people and processes through sector-focused multi-user hubs, enablingcustomers to face market fluctuations, create savings and provide high service levels. Following thisapproach since 2010, CEVA has launched multi-customer hubs, City of Books, City of Pharma andTechCity, dedicated to the publishing, healthcare and technology sectors." CEVA is an excellent example of collaboration in the logistics sector. CEVA’s hubs demonstrate thecommitment for innovation and continuous improvement for customers and environmentalsustainability.
