Stop talking the talk - time to walk the green supply chain walk
According to Barloworld Optimus, although everybody seems to be launching environmentally friendly initiatives, it remains to be seen if these will make a difference in the grand scheme of things, or whether it’s a lot of hot air. more

ELUPEG - What Membership Means

(c) BigStockPhoto
Being a member of ELUPEG shows a belief in Collaboration as the only way ahead. There are different levels of membership see below:-

Associate Membership

Associate members are typically those who are "dipping their toe" into collaboration and sustainable logistics and want to find out more, and perhaps attend a meeting. Associates will receive our regular communications about events - both ELUPEG and alliance organisations - and can register and pay for meetings online. This gives Associate members the edge over non-members when it comes to booking places at popular events. Associates have limited additional access to the Members Only parts of the web site - but we hope to persuade Associates to upgrade to Full or Corporate membership when they see the benefits that can be obtained.

Associate membership is free, however we do ask that you register and keep your contact information up to date. To join online click here.

Full Membership (individual)

A Full member receives a username and password which allows access to the member's only area of the website where you can establish contact with other ELUPEG members and have access to information showing the activities of the group. A forum or blog area allows members to discuss and debate their ideas and views with other members, and there is a library of documents on the subject of collaboration, including articles, projects and case histories. Membership is individual but a member may nominate a colleague to attend a meeting in their place. Membership runs for 12 months from date of joining and can be renewed online. The membership fee is £250 or €375 plus VAT. To join online click here.

Gold Corporate Membership

This allows 2 named members within one company and includes free attendance for 2 people at 3 events including dinner within the membership period. The cost is £1500 or  €2250 plus VAT. To find out more about Corporate membership, please contact us.

Platinum Corporate Membership

is also available for £2500 – the same package but for 4 people. To find out more about Corporate membership, please contact us.

Meetings

There are currently three Group Meetings per year, hosted by one or more of the member companies. Meetings normally comprise a full day working event with break-out sessions, presentations, debates etc., and a very popular networking dinner the evening before.

Full and Corporate members are charged a meeting fee that represents a significant discount over the Associate or non-members fees. Participants are paying for the opportunity to

  • network with representatives from a large number of companies
  • explore opportunities to create sustainable logistics operations
  • find others wanting to make savings by collaborative working
  • learn about progress being made by ongoing projects and working groups
  • contribute to these activities.

  • For more information about Group Meetings, see Forthcoming Events

Working groups meet throughout the year in order to progress specific projects.
