Data Protection Policy

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Act") the Company is obliged to advise you of the types of information we hold about you, what purposes that information is being used for and must ensure that all personal data held is accurate and up to date. This policy is intended to cover all your personal information that the Company holds or may hold in the future.

1. Your Personal Data

The following personal data may be collected and processed (as set out in more detail below):
  • Personal details such as name, address, telephone number, email address and job title/experience;

2. Notification of the Purposes For Which Your Data Is To Be Processed (non sensitive only)

Your personal data will be processed for the administration of your membership with ELUPEG specifically for the following non - exhaustive list of purposes ("Purposes"):
  • List of members including contact details. Although it is not the purpose of ELUPEG to promote that its members market to each other whether directly or indirectly, such marketing may take place and therefore your personal data may well be used by other members for such marketing purposes.
  • Attendance lists for ELUPEG events
  • Minutes and records of ELUPEG events and business
  • Pursuant to any legal or regulatory reporting requirements
  • Any other reason related to the management and administration of ELUPEG

3. To Whom Will Your Data Be Disclosed ("Recipients")

Your data may be disclosed both within and outside of the European Union, as appropriate, to:
  • ELUPEG members
  • Potential ELUPEG members
  • Service providers who perform services for ELUPEG such as IT service providers
  • Statutory, regulatory or legal authorities or tribunals
  • Any other third parties where required and/or permitted, by law

4. Your Rights In Relation To Your Data

  • You may request to view the personal data which ELUPEG holds about you in writing. We will let you know what information we are holding, show you the information if possible and, except in very limited circumstances as set down by the Act, give you a copy of it either electronically or in paper form.
  • If required by law, you will be notified of any changes to the manner in which data is processed, its purposes and recipients.
  • You may obtain up to date information about:
    • Any revised Purposes or Recipients;
    • Viewing a copy of your data to check for any inaccuracies and amendments required;
    • This statement.
